The gas automatic shut-off valve, also known as the pipeline gas automatic shut-off valve, is an important device installed on low-pressure gas system pipelines to protect gas safety. It does not rely on electricity or other external power sources and can automatically identify and respond to changes in the gas pressure within the pipeline. When encountering situations such as underpressure, overpressure, excessive flow, or gas cut-off, the gas automatic shut-off valve will automatically close and cut off the gas supply, preventing potential safety hazards such as gas leakage, flameout, and pipe disconnection. This valve features a simple structure and easy installation, yet offers reliable performance, providing long-term safety assurance for both residential and commercial settings.
Control range
It is installed at the end of the gas steel pipe after the gas meter and before the hose. It serves as a safety barrier in front of the hose and the cooking appliance. Usually, it comes with a manual valve and is used as a pre-stove valve.
Function
In situations such as gas outage, abnormal gas supply, and hose disconnection, the self-closing valve will suck in the reset cover and automatically close to prevent gas leakage. It can only be reused by manually pulling out the reset cover. It is a key device for enhancing the gas safety of residential users.
